The third event in the Long Island Modern at LongHouse series will look at the 2nd wave of post-war modernism on the east end and the innovative, neo-Corbusian works of Charles Gwathmey, Richard Meier, Barbara & Julian Neski, and others, ending with the work of Norman Jaffe, his untimely death in 1993, and the rise of a reactionary period of neo-traditional architecture on the east end.
