LongHouse Talks: Lee Skolnick

Cost:

FREE – $25.00 per person

Duration:

2h

Telling stories and enriching the lives of our communities is the hallmark of SKOLNICK, an award-winning studio of architects, designers, educators, project managers, and writers. Lee Skolnick had been working with Jack Lenor Larsen for well over a decade, planning ahead for Jack’s intention to open his house to the public as a place that fulfills the LongHouse mission of living with art in all of its forms.  Lee will talk about his conversations with Jack and the current project to study and explore the house and collections. The SKOLNICK practice–designing spaces to gather, explore, work, play, learn, and heal–aligns with the LongHouse offering.  A robust q&a part of the talk will allow our visitors to ask their unanswered questions about what happens next at LongHouse.  Join us for this exciting conversation and reception.
