Celebrated in poetry and music, the vibrant, trumpet-shaped daffodil symbolizes renewal and the arrival of warmer weather. Greet the spring season with docent Geoffrey Blatt on Saturday, March 29, from 2–3 pm, on this special, guided stroll through the LongHouse gardens. Experience wonder and delight at the vast number and variety of bright, cheery daffodils. While we wait for the earth to fully awaken from its winter slumber and buds to burst into vivid greens, enjoy heathers, hellebores, and other late-winter and early-spring shrubs and trees that punctuate the landscape with their brilliant colors.
