Bark, Bloom, and Forcing Branches: A Winter Walk at LongHouse Reserve

Saturday, March 19th, 1:00-2:30pm

LongHouse Reserve, 133 Hands Creek Rd, East Hampton, NY 11937

Enjoy a guided tour of LongHouse Reserve as the earliest blooms burst forth.  Alex Feleppa, LHR Horticulturist, will provide insight into the many kinds of beautiful bark, blooms, and textures that you can incorporate into your own landscape to enjoy a four-season garden of interest.  Guests will also gain knowledge about forcing flowering branches inside the home, one of Jack Larsen’s favorite activities all year-round.  Bring your cameras and your curiosity, dress appropriately, and hot beverages will be served.
