2024 Exhibitions
LongHouse Reserve is a16-acre sculpture garden featuring more than 60 outdoor works including permanent collection works by Buckminster Fuller, Yoko Ono, Toshiko Takaezu, and Willem de Kooning, and long-term loans by artists such as Ai Wei Wei, Maren Hassinger, and Daniel Arsham. These are complemented by seasonal exhibitions from artists like, Agathe Snow, Mark Mennin, Kenny Scharf, and Isamu Noguchi to encourage exploration and contemplation for new and repeat visitors alike.
This year, look for works by Toshiko Takaezu and Isamu Noguchi, part of Full Circle: Toshiko Takaezu and Friends, and Monica Banks’ Bird Happenings, miniature porcelain vignettes nestled in various places throughout LongHouse Reserve for the birds (and visitors) to experience and enjoy. Other new works of Art in the Gardens include Agathe Snow's Out of the Storm, Bill King’s Kontest, and Robert Lobe's Dryad.
