Enjoy some private time at LongHouse and have the gardens all to yourselves. Bring the entire family and stroll the grounds at your leisure on Saturdays and Sundays before we open to the public.
In July and August enjoy creative hands-on activities with The Shine Studio on Saturday Member Mornings.

Visitor Guidelines
- Visitors of all ages and abilities are welcome to explore and enjoy our gardens and art. Please respect the grounds by staying only on paths and lawns, leaving plants as they are, and appreciating the art without touching unless invited to do so. Young children must remain accompanied by an adult at all times.
- LongHouse is a smoke-free facility (including e-cigarettes and vaporizers).
- ADA Title III service animals are welcome. Pets, emotional support animals, therapy animals, or animals whose function is to comfort do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and are not permitted onsite. Service animals must be declared upon entry. Handlers are solely responsible for the care and control of their service animal, which must remain on-leash at all times. All animals must be cleaned up after. For the health of your pets, please do not leave them in vehicles during your visit.

- Visitors may take photos and videos for personal, non-commercial use. Drones are prohibited. Commercial filming and photography and any portrait, family, wedding, and engagement photography
require advanced permission .
Know Before You Go
Parking
Free parking is available on site in our parking lot during regular hours of operation. Overnight parking is not permitted.
Limited accessible parking is available near the GateHouse entrance. Additionally, guests with physical disabilities or who rely on assistive mobile devices may be dropped off in the loop near the GateHouse. C
Accessibility
LongHouse Reserve welcome visitors of all abilities to explore our carefully curated gardens. We are able to provide accessible seating with advance notice during all of our public programs and special events.

Tours
Public Tours led by LongHouse Volunteer Docents are scheduled from April through November, Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM, based on docent availability. Special Tours may be scheduled throughout the year. Tours are included with admission and begin at the Gate House. Reservations are recommended. Check under Programs for schedule and booking.
Private tours are available by appointment for a fee. Email or call 631.329.3568 to arrange your visit.

Terrain & Wayfaring
LongHouse Reserve's garden features paths made of compacted gravel, sand, grass, and other natural materials. Some guests may experience difficulty navigating the paths if using assistive mobile devices (such as walkers or wheelchairs). Click here to request a map complete with an overview of physical accessibility.
Guests with a physical disability may request an accessible golf-cart visit. Accessible visits must be scheduled two weeks in advance and are subject to staff availability. Golf-cart visits are limited to three passengers. For more information or to schedule an accessible visit, please contact our Accessibility Coordinator.
