The month of March is always full of weather surprises so it really was no surprise that we were greeted with a lovely blanket of snow this morning.   The contrast of white on the ground plays well against the landscape and the art in the gardens, not to mention our blooming witch hazel collection.

Our Golden Path kicks off its four season display of yellows and golds with these happy witch hazels.  Also called winterbloom, witch hazels are in the Hamamelidaceae family and are true to their name providing blooms throughout the winter.
