After a cold, rainy spring draped in the browns and grays of winter, our season opener, Rites of Spring, was blessed with a bright, sunny day with colors dazzling guests from every corner of the garden.
We had our largest crowd for opening day but even with over 500 guests, the garden maintained its zen like quality and everyone enjoyed their first taste of warm weather.
It was especially gratifying to see so many families! We love to see multi-generational groups exploring the grounds together and with children perhaps visiting a public garden for the first time.
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate spring with us; we hope you made many happy memories.
