These quilts are a collaboration between Jack Larsen and Fait La Force.  They were sewn in a small workshop in Port au Prince, using fabrics from Jack's personal archival collection.  They were then embroidered using a Japanese running stitch by women in the local community.

The dimensions of the quilt are 54" x 75".  These are very limited editions, but the collaboration will be on-going with different archival fabrics in the future.

Jack himself has traveled to Haiti and worked with artisans there in the past, so its a particularly special and meaningful collaboration.

Fait La Force works with artisans using traditional techniques and natural materials to provide jobs, skills and access to markets by bringing modern design to indigenous craft.
