Book An Educational Tour
We offer experiences that inspire and motivate, arouse curiosity, astound and challenge students ranging in age from Pre-K through Graduate School.
Student tours are one of the most exciting and important events at LongHouse. Led by volunteer docents, approximately 3,000 students visit annually, coming from Montauk to New York City.
Whether you request an hour tour, our most popular 1 ½ hour tour, or
decide to include on-site work, we will work with you.
As soon as one of our docents meets your group at the GateHouse, we are ready to engage with you in a way that meets your educational goals and provides a motivational experience for you and your students.
We are open year-round to students and tours are free of charge.
Book your tour and we will work with you to focus on your needs. You are encouraged to book in advance, especially in spring, which is generally a busy season.
Visits are always free of charge to educators and their students.
Email us to book your visit or for further information.
Tours for the public are available on weekends only: Saturdays at 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm, and Sundays at 1:00 pm. These are free with admission and reservations are not necessary. Tours begin at the GateHouse. Private Tours can be booked by email.
