Educational Tours

LongHouse offers guided tours that inspire and motivate, arouse curiosity, astound and challenge students from Pre-K through Graduate School.

Educational Tours led by our volunteer Docents, host students from Pre-K through Graduate School, from Montauk to New York City. We are open year-round and tours are free of charge.

Guided visits aim to engage students and teachers with the art, design, gardens, and history of LongHouse, providing a motivational experience that helps in the development of critical thinking skills and makes connections to students' lives.

School groups are encouraged to schedule visits outside the hours of Open Days (Mondays and Tuesdays, 10:00 am to 5 pm, or Wednesdays through Fridays, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm).

Our grounds have uneven terrain. We strongly recommend visitors wear sensible footwear. Guests using assistive mobile devices are encouraged to call ahead and inquire about accessibility and navigating our property. Accommodations can be arranged in advance for visitors with disabilities or special needs. Golf carts are available for those with mobility issues.

Email to book your visit. Include a contact name, telephone number, school name, desired date(s)/time(s), and approximate size of group.
