2025 LongHouse Luminosity Honorees
This year we are excited to recognize the contirbutions of community changemakers Mary Jane and Charlie Brock and artist Vija Celmins. Both honorees exemplify the spirit of creativity and dedication to the arts that defines LongHouse.

VIJA CELMINS
Vija Celmins has long been admired for her meticulous renderings of natural imagery, including ocean waves, desert floors, and night skies. Her paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints depict scenes that are too vast or mercurial to be fixed in the mind's eye and connect us deeply with nature. She has had solo exhibitions at numerous museums around the world, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Kunstmuseum Basel, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Menil Collection in Houston.

MARY JANE and CHARLES BROCK
Mary Jane and Charles Brock's contributions to our community, as well as to Guild Hall, the East Hampton Historical Society and LVIS are immeasurable. Recently, they brought us a phenomenal hire wire walk by Philippe Petit, the 50th anniversary of his walk between the Twin Towers. They offer generous support and infectious spirit to LongHouse and all who meet them.
