Botanical Shakespeare Concert

In Remembrance of Ingeborg Ten Haeff

A captivating, beautifully illustrated compendium of the flowers, fruits, herbs, trees, seeds and grasses cited in the works of the world's greatest playwright, William Shakespeare, accompanied musically by the lutenist Christopher Morrongiello.  Christopher will perform Renaissance music inspired by William Shakespeare's poems and will be joined by soprano Marcia Young for two Renaissance flower songs.  The music is performed in interplay with the lecture of Botanical Shakespeare recited by Mrs. Gerit Quealy.
