Bring something to drink and a picnic blanket or lawn chair. Longhouse will provide painting materials to capture the magical beauty of the evening garden. With guidance from instructor Barbara Thomas, you’ll create a beautiful souvenir of an evening in the LongHouse gardens.

About Barbara Thomas
Barbara attended The Art Students League and Pratt Institute in New York, and received her MFA degree from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, Boston, Massachusetts. Her work explores the natural world and human relationship to it. Subjects include earth and sky, flora and fauna, and seasons. Working mostly in traditional media, oil paint and gouache watercolor, she renders her views of the elements of nature with detail and attention. Her work also delves into contemporary media—digital photography and video, as well as experiments in direct use of land.
